The Conservatory of Annie Moses

Tuition and investment

The complete financial reference for the Conservatory — Core tuition by age tier, electives by division, additional private lesson rates, dance program pricing, and information about payment options and financial aid.

How tuition works

The structure.

The Conservatory operates on a fifteen-week fall semester and a fifteen-week spring semester, and tuition is billed per semester. Enrollment is for the full academic year. New students may be admitted mid-year, for the spring semester, on a case-by-case basis.

Core Tuition covers the required Core Curriculum at each age tier — the private lesson, theory and ear training, drama, and (at Foundation Level Two and above) Masterclass and Vocal Harmonization. Electives are priced separately and added to Core Tuition. The Dance Division is priced as a separate discipline rather than as an elective within Music. The full breakdown follows.

By example

What real Conservatory enrollment looks like.

The Conservatory's pricing structure is designed to be modular: families enroll for the Core Curriculum appropriate to the student's tier, then add electives, additional lessons, or Dance Division courses to fit the student's developing interests and the family's budget. A few illustrative scenarios:

  • Pre-College Core$2,200
  • Dance, first course$300
  • Dance, additional course$180
  • Registration$125
Per semester$2,805

A family of three children — at Foundation Level One (age 7), Foundation Level Two (age 10), and Pre-College (age 14), each in Core only.

  • Three Core tuitions$1,100 + $1,600 + $2,200
  • Subtotal before discount$4,900

Financial aid

Investing in artists.

The Conservatory believes that financial circumstances should not be the limiting factor in whether a serious young artist receives the training her gifts deserve. Financial aid is available for families demonstrating need, and we work directly with families to make Conservatory enrollment possible wherever the student's commitment and the Conservatory's capacity allow.

Need-based aid, annually.

Need-based aid is awarded annually following an application process that takes into account family financial circumstances, the student's demonstrated commitment, and available scholarship funds. Families interested in financial aid are invited to contact the Conservatory office during the enrollment process.

The Wolaver Fellowship (beginning 2027) will operate on a different model than tier-based tuition; Fellowship aid information will be published as the Fellowship launches.
