Flexibility
Students with serious artistic calling need time. The Academy is built to give it to them — concentrated academics two mornings a week, with the rest of the week opened for the music, performance, and professional work that build a career.
Rigor
Academic demands grow significantly in the junior-high and high-school years. The Academy keeps this season rigorous — without forcing students to choose between their academics and the vocational calling many of them are already living.
Formation
Student-Identity is formed as students learn who they are and their place in the world, to become competent in accomplishing good works, and that they are supported in loving relationships. It's for this reason that it's so important to pair growth in Academics with excellence in Family and the Arts.
Purpose
The Academy develops depth of thought alongside craft. Grounded in what it means to be human, Christian, and a warrior poet for the Kingdom.

The Syllabus
A four-year, eight-semester program beginning as early as 7th grade. Each semester, full-time students will earn at least three credits primarily focused in Foundations, History and Philosophy. Conversations surrounding faith are woven into everything we do, and room is left for additional course opportunities involving college prep or independent study.
The bedrock of intellect: Logic, Loyalty, and Emotions. Mastering the tools of thought before applying them to complex subjects.
Tracing the lineage of ideas through epochs. A chronological exploration of civilization's triumphs and failures.
Wrestling with the 'why'. Developing a robust worldview through the study of Ethics, Aesthetics, and theoretical frameworks.
Enriching core studies, equipping for College admission and offering Independent Study options as requested by parents.
The ultimate goal of the Academy. Bringing truth, goodness, and beauty into physical reality.
Inside the Courses
The backbone of the Academy: a four-year telling of the story of Western Civilization, from its Ancient Greek, Roman, and Jewish roots through Scholasticism, the Renaissance, and the Enlightenment to contemporary American culture. This is the chronology that gives everything else its context and framework — philosophy, literature, the arts, and the life of the church all take their place along its line — pursued with deliberate attention to primary sources throughout.
An exploration of two models for story structure: Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey and Dan Harmon's simpler eight-part reconstruction. Alongside these, we examine how we are psychologically designed, philosophically defined, and theologically created for stories — and why, for secular and Christian theorists alike, Jesus's story consistently stands out as the greatest story ever told.
Much more than memorized responses to atheist proponents. This course explores apologetics from the honest position of our own doubts and the biblical promise that good answers await those who seek. We look into works by William Lane Craig, Wesley Huff, and many writers and stories that are apologetic in nature.

Graduation Paths
The Academy offers four graduation paths, each shaped to a different student's commitments and trajectory.
Path 1 — Musical Excellence & College Preparation
Full Academy diploma with college-preparatory math, sciences, and languages. For students preparing for selective university admissions alongside musical formation.
Path 2 — Musical Excellence
Full Academy diploma with elective flexibility. For Conservatory students whose professional artistic commitments require time for performance and recording work.
Path 3 — Late Transfer or Special Circumstance
Academy diploma granted case-by-case for students whose transfer timing or outstanding circumstances prevent satisfying Path 1 or 2 requirements, but whose work represents the Academy's character and values.
Path 4 — Homeschool Diploma
Open enrollment in Academy courses without earning an Academy diploma. Students attend and celebrate graduation alongside the Academy community while pursuing their primary diploma elsewhere.

The Year
The Academy's four quarters fit inside the rhythm of the seasons and the liturgical calendar. Our breaks fall where they should — Advent into Epiphany, Holy Week into Easter, the heat of summer. The schedule belongs to a year older than ours.

A seasoned classical education instructor with a Master's Degree in philosophy and years of experience teaching rhetoric, thesis, theology, and philosophy to high-school students. His innovative work in student motivation and educational design uniquely qualifies him to lead this program and guide its students toward excellence.

For students enrolling in single Academy courses without diploma commitment. The Homeschool Diploma path (Path 4 above) enrolls at this rate.
Based on 25 credits required for graduation (6.25 credits per year over four years). Conservatory tuition is billed separately at $2,200 / semester base, plus electives.
