Robin Donica Wolaver

Robin Wolaver holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University and is an author, speaker, and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. She and her husband, fellow composer Bill Wolaver, have raised seven children — all of whom perform together as the Annie Moses Band.

Robin's book The Song of Annie Moses, published by Guideposts Books, chronicles the family's remarkable journey from the cotton fields of Depression-era Texas to the halls of Juilliard and onto world-renowned stages. She is also the creator and writer behind The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello, a hit children's television series that weaves Scriptural lessons into live puppetry, humor, and original song and dance — carrying forward the warm, imaginative tradition of Fred Rogers.

An award-winning lyricist, Robin has received two Dove Award nominations — in both Song of the Year and Best Children's Musical — and has been honored with the Gospel Song of the Year award by both ASCAP and the Nashville Songwriters Association. In collaboration with Bill, she has had numerous musicals and choral works published by leading Christian publishers.

Robin has emerged as a leading voice in arts education, shaped by her conviction that the battle for the hearts and minds of this generation is being lost — and won — through the influence of the arts. In response, she founded the Annie Moses Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping parents and communities to raise up a new generation of highly skilled young musicians.

Together with her family, Robin teaches at the Conservatory of Annie Moses and directs the annual Annie Moses Summer Music Festival. These flagship programs have helped hundreds of young people from across the United States and around the world grow into confident performers pursuing artistic excellence for the glory of God.
